A classic bullish entry signal is when the <strong>Short MMA<\/strong> (e.g. EMA 20) crosses the <strong>Long MMA<\/strong> (e.g. EMA 50) from below.<\/li><li>Locate <strong>turning points<\/strong> when the <strong>Short MMA<\/strong> crosses the <strong>Long MMA<\/strong> in the opposite direction.<\/li><\/ul><h3>Thursday: Strategy and Backtesting<\/h3><p>Today, we are going to develop a trading strategy using the <strong>Moving Averages<\/strong> and make a <strong>backtest<\/strong> to assess its effectiveness.<\/p><p><strong>Tasks to be performed :<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Develop a strategy based on cross-fertilization of <strong>Moving Averages<\/strong>. For example, go long when the <strong>Short MMA<\/strong> crosses the <strong>Long MMA<\/strong> and sell when this happens in the opposite direction.<\/li><li>Make a <strong>backtest<\/strong> over the last few weeks to see how your strategy would have performed.
